The Dundee Wheelers are a cycling group from Dundee, Scotland. The club was established in 1971 through a merger of the Dundee Roads and Forfarshire Clubs. Today it is the largest club in the Dundee area and enjoys a reputation for its friendliness and the welcome it gives to riders of all ages and abilities. Although a number of members race at local and national level, others cycle for purely recreational purposes. All enjoy the unique comradeship that cycling as a group brings.
The objective of the task was to film Dundee Wheelers club member Jim Barrie cycling using various angles that were captured using aerial drone video, stabilised cameras fitted to the Rising View van and filming in partnership with Steve Soave. Jim was then interviewed and the sound clip was edited into the finished video edit to give a high quality edit which was colour graded to match all the different cameras used.
Rising View Pilot Dale Summerton and Steve Soave have worked on a number of projects together combing both of their different skillsets to produce some amazing work for clients such as the University of Dundee and Leisure and Culture Dundee.

All of our jobs are carried out with safety in mind and we have strict rules and permissions in place from the Civil Aviation Authority. We are fully licensed and have public liability insurance. Before any job we carry out lots of pre-planning and then again we do risk assessments on site on the day of the job.
